Sailing on the Disney Treasure was an experience I’ll never forget. From the moment I stepped onboard to the last goodbye, every detail felt magical — and the ship itself is something truly special. If you’ve been thinking about booking a Disney cruise, especially on the Treasure, here’s my personal wrap-up of highlights, tips, and things to know before you go.

My Favorite Highlights

Theming & Details: Disney really outdid themselves with the Treasure’s theming. From the Grand Hall’s stunning chandelier to the hidden nods to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in the Periscope Pub, there is so much to discover. Let’s not forget the Haunted Mansion Parlor, my favorite — they still have room for one more!

Taking the ship tour is a must — it’s free and packed with hidden details you won’t find on your own. I learned so much about the Treasure that, if I hadn’t taken the tour, I would have never known.

Shows: Beauty and the Beast is my new favorite Disney Cruise show — truly Broadway quality, with one of the most magical moments I’ve ever seen at sea. The Tale of Moana is also worth seeing.

Dining: I enjoyed all the rotational dining options, but 1923 was my absolute favorite — amazing food and the perfect ambiance. World of Marvel had some fun moments, and Plaza de Coco was a decent experience, though I wish it were more about the Coco film. It was too much mariachi for me and not enough Coco.

Concierge Level: Concierge is an absolute game-changer. Priority boarding, early room access, a private lunch, and access to the beautiful concierge lounge make the cruise feel extra special. The stateroom views at the front of the ship are unforgettable. This was my first time sailing concierge, and it won’t be my last!

My Top Tips

  • Book the Concierge Level if you can — once you’ve experienced it, you’ll be spoiled for any other level of stateroom.

  • Take the Ship Tour — it’s free, insightful, and full of hidden details you’ll never see on your own. Ask for a guide like Magan — she made it even more fun.

  • Plan Shore Excursions Wisely — for ports like Tortola or St. Thomas, I recommend booking through Disney if you want to explore beyond the port area. Transportation isn’t always close or easy to arrange.

  • Enjoy the Adult Spaces — the concierge lounge and the upstairs sun deck are my favorite quiet spots away from the crowds.

  • Dress for the Dining Experiences — especially for specialty dining like 1923. It makes the experience even more special. The Haunted Mansion Bar is fun to dress for, too — kids love dressing up for the themed restaurants!

Final Thoughts

Disney cruises are about more than just travel — they’re about storytelling, attention to detail, and unforgettable memories. The Disney Treasure delivers all of that and more. It’s not just a ship; it’s an adventure, and one I’m already looking forward to sailing again.

If you’ve ever thought about a Disney cruise, I promise you: the Disney Treasure is worth it. And if you decide to sail, take the concierge upgrade if you can, take the ship tour, and soak up every magical detail along the way.

Disney doesn’t just create cruises — they create unforgettable journeys. The Treasure proves that once again. I would love to help you plan your next adventure!
