I recently returned from an incredible vacation to the Dominican Republic, where I stayed at Breathless Punta Cana—and it truly was an unforgettable getaway.

Beautiful Accommodations & Relaxing Views
The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, filled with lush tropical plants, vibrant flowers, and swaying palm trees that instantly set the tone for relaxation.
My husband and I stayed in a newly remodeled partial ocean-view Xhale Club room. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and well-stocked throughout our stay. While we didn’t spend much time in the room (because there’s so much to do!), it was the perfect retreat when we did.
My favorite feature? The outdoor terrace with a jetted bathtub. Morning coffee and evening wind-downs out there were some of my favorite moments of the trip. From our room, we could see both the lively main pool and the calming ocean waves—a perfect balance of energy and serenity.

There are multiple pools and bars throughout the resort, each offering a slightly different atmosphere. We spent most of our time at the main pool, which had a fun yet relaxed energy and plenty of space for our group to spread out comfortably.
The beach is equally impressive—wide, clean, and lined with plenty of seating options, whether you prefer soaking up the sun or relaxing in the shade.
Dining That Truly Delivers
The food at Breathless Punta Cana was a highlight of the trip.

International cuisine options
Each dinner felt like a full experience, with multiple courses and consistently excellent quality. The steaks at both Coquette and The Strip Grill were especially memorable.
Our group of 11 was thoroughly impressed—not just with the quality, but also with the variety available.
Service & Entertainment That Elevate the Experience
What truly set this trip apart was the exceptional staff.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm, friendly service across the entire resort. The team was consistently helpful, welcoming, and attentive—making every part of our stay even more enjoyable.
The entertainment team also deserves a special mention. They kept the energy going all day and into the night with activities by the pool, on the beach, and engaging evening shows.
Breathless Punta Cana delivered everything I look for in an adults-only, all-inclusive vacation—beautiful surroundings, great food, fun atmosphere, and exceptional service.
I would absolutely return in a heartbeat.
