Trying Club Level at Pixar Place Hotel

As a travel agent specializing in Disney destinations, I've had the joy of experiencing many magical resort stays. Some of those stays have felt exceptional, the most recent of which was a visit to the Disneyland Resort. I finally had the chance to try something I hadn't yet experienced on the West Coast: Club Level at Pixar Place Hotel.
My first impression: I could get used to this.
Let me tell you, the Creators Club Lounge truly lives up to its name. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a VIP. After a quick word at the check-in desk in the lobby, I was welcomed at an exclusive check-in desk just inside the lounge. There, I was greeted by friendly Cast Members who not only handled my check-in with ease but also offered resort and park recommendations tailored to my trip. It was a seamless and personal welcome—a refreshing way to start a stay.
After check-in, I was given a tour of the lounge itself, and wow—what a space! The Creators Club blends upscale comfort with playful Pixar touches. It's bright, modern, and cozy, with nods to some of our favorite characters and films tucked into the design. I wanted to take the art off the wall (joking, joking.)
One of the biggest perks of staying at Club Level? The daily food and beverage offerings. Light refreshments are available throughout the day—from continental-style breakfast in the morning to lunchtime bites, evening hors d'oeuvres, and evening snacks. You'll also find coffee, tea, water, juice, and sodas available all day, with alcohol (including mimosas, wine, and beer) available upon request. My best mornings start with coffee, and my best afternoons include a Coke Zero, so you know I took advantage of that!
In fact, my favorite moment of the whole trip was my final morning. I woke up early for sunrise photos of the resorts and Downtown Disney, but I still had a little time to kill before my flight. With my bags packed and my Uber to the airport still an hour away, I spent a peaceful hour in the lounge. I sipped on a mimosa and a warm cup of coffee, nibbled on flaky pastries, and lost myself in a book on my Kindle while reflecting on my amazing trip. It was calm, quiet, and such a lovely way to wrap up a whirlwind visit.
Is it always a quiet oasis? Absolutely not, but what family resort is? Families are rounding up their youngsters for a quick breakfast before rope-dropping; of course, they're excited! I'm EXCITED TOO! Even at its most crowded state, it felt like an escape from the crowds of the parks, Downtown Disney, and other louder areas of the resort.

Beyond the Club Level experience, Pixar Place Hotel is a celebration of creativity, color, and comfort. As the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the U.S., the resort has been thoughtfully reimagined to immerse guests in the world of Pixar from the moment they arrive. From vibrant character artwork and whimsical decor in the lobby to subtle story-inspired details throughout the hallways and rooms, every corner is filled with charm. The rooftop pool area offers stunning views, a splash pad, and cozy firepits—perfect for unwinding after a day in the parks. Plus, with easy walking access to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, it's an ideal home base for your magical stay. I've stepped foot on every Disney resort at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and this is now in my top three.
