Sweet Magic at The Cake Bake Shop Bakery on Disney’s BoardWalk

If you love desserts that sparkle (literally), you have to check out The Cake Bake Shop Bakery at Disney's BoardWalk. Walking inside feels like stepping into a glittery dream—where every dessert looks like it was made by fairies. Think elegant layer cakes, picture-perfect truffles, and cookies that shimmer with edible glitter. It’s almost too pretty to eat… almost.

The entire bakery smells like sugar and happiness. You can grab a slice of cake, a coffee, or a sweet treat to go while soaking in the BoardWalk views. (Side note: the banana pudding was a 10/10—would absolutely buy again.)

The BoardWalk itself is one of my favorite Disney resorts. There’s something so fun and nostalgic about it, and the lobby is absolutely beautiful. There’s always something happening here—and now, with The Cake Bake Shop added to the mix, it’s even better.

Easy to Get To (and Easy to Love)

Another thing I love about The Cake Bake Shop Bakery is how easy it is to reach. It’s just a short walk from the Disney Skyliner, making it a perfect dessert stop if you’re staying at a Skyliner resort like Disney’s Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, or Art of Animation.

It’s also an easy walk from EPCOT. If you’re touring the park and need a break, you can stroll over, grab a coffee or sweet treat, and enjoy a little downtime along the water.

Best Time to Visit

The Cake Bake Shop Bakery has only been open since late 2024, so it’s been getting a lot of buzz—and crowds. A Cast Member shared that the best time to visit is mid-day. Mornings and evenings tend to have longer lines, but if you time it right (or visit on a weekday like I did), you might get lucky and walk right in.

One important note: if you’re hoping to dine on the restaurant side, a reservation is required. The bakery itself does not require one.

Is It Worth It?

Whether you’re visiting for the sparkle, the sweets, or just looking for an excuse to wander the BoardWalk, The Cake Bake Shop Bakery is absolutely a must-do. It’s one of those places that feels straight out of a storybook—and honestly, who doesn’t love a little glitter with their dessert?
