Royal Court Tea Magic Aboard the Disney Magic

This past December, I had the absolute joy of sailing aboard the Disney Magic, and one of the most special experiences we booked was Royal Court Tea. I have to say—this was one of those moments that truly felt like pure Disney magic, especially when experienced through a child’s eyes.
I booked Royal Court Tea for my great-niece, who is five years old, and she loved every single minute of it. From the moment we walked in, you could feel how special the experience was. The room is beautiful and elegant, and the Cast Members treat the children like true royalty from start to finish.
So, What Exactly Is Royal Court Tea?
Royal Court Tea is a special, ticketed experience offered onboard the Disney Magic, where children are invited to a royal tea party hosted by Disney Princesses. While it’s designed with kids in mind, adults attend with them—and honestly, it’s just as magical for the grown-ups. The experience is interactive, entertaining, and (fair warning) can be incredibly emotional if you love watching Disney magic come to life.
During the tea, the children are served the most adorable desserts—and yes, they’re delicious! Even I was impressed with how good everything tasted. Adults are served hot tea, which is a lovely touch and helps the experience feel like a true, elegant tea for everyone at the table.
The Stars of the Show
The experience is hosted by Lady Chamomile, the graceful and charming hostess, and Chef Brûlée, the royal chef—and let me tell you, these two are incredible.
They keep the energy high and the audience engaged from beginning to end. From storytelling to singing, the show flows beautifully and captivates both children and adults. Their chemistry is fantastic, their humor is spot-on, and their voices genuinely surprised me in the best way. The singing added such a magical, theatrical element to the entire experience.
While the Princesses make special appearances throughout the tea and visit each table for personal interactions, it’s Lady Chamomile and Chef Brûlée who guide the experience and keep everything moving seamlessly. They make every child feel important, included, and completely swept up in the magic.
A Moment I’ll Never Forget
At the end of the experience, each child is invited to take a professional photo with all of the Princesses together. Watching my great-niece walk up there, smiling ear to ear, is a moment I will cherish forever.
And then there are the gifts—because wow.
Each child receives a beautiful Royal Court Tea gift set, which includes:

A gorgeous royal presentation box

A royal blue velvet Royal Court bag
My great-niece thought this was the best part (besides meeting the Princesses, of course!). She still talks about it and regularly hosts her own royal tea parties at home.
Is Royal Court Tea Worth the Cost?
Royal Court Tea is considered a premium experience, and pricing varies by sailing and availability. That said, in my opinion, it was absolutely worth every penny. Between the Princess interactions, the live show, the food, the professional photos, and the keepsake gifts, it’s an unforgettable experience that creates lifelong memories.
If you’re sailing aboard the Disney Magic and have a child who loves Princesses, I cannot recommend Royal Court Tea enough. It’s one of those experiences that becomes a core memory—for the children and for the adults lucky enough to share it with them.
