Traveling with food allergies can feel overwhelming—but not at Walt Disney World. If you’ve been following our adventures for a while, you already know how much we love Disney’s table service restaurants. But what about those moments when you don’t have a reservation… or when everyone just needs a quick, safe meal?

Good news: Disney offers fantastic allergy-friendly quick service options, too. We still have plenty of places left to try, but these are some of our family-tested favorites that have consistently delivered safe, delicious meals.

1. La Cantina de San Angel — EPCOT (Mexico Pavilion)

This is an absolute must-do for our family when visiting EPCOT. The Cast Members here have always been incredibly accommodating—especially during the years when our daughter was managing multiple allergies, including wheat, dairy, egg, and tree nuts.

Her favorite order includes:

  • Chicken & rice bowl

  • Pico de gallo

  • Chips and guacamole

We always speak directly with the allergy coordinator, and this meal has consistently been safe, fresh, and satisfying—perfect while exploring World Showcase.

2. Woody’s Lunch Box — Hollywood Studios (Toy Story Land)

This spot is surprisingly perfect, even with a dairy allergy! Located in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, it’s a great option when you need something quick and kid-friendly.

Our daughter usually enjoys:

  • Turkey sandwich (no cheese)

  • Potato barrels from the dedicated allergy fryer

  • A mandarin orange

Light, easy, and not too heavy—especially welcome on hot Florida days.

3. Docking Bay 7 — Hollywood Studios (Galaxy’s Edge)

One of our favorite spots for an allergy-friendly quick service dinner. Between the immersive theming, ample seating, and excellent allergy accommodations, this location is a win all around.

Allergy win:

  • Fried Chicken Tip-Yip made with rice flour, making it gluten/wheat friendly

  • Served with rice and vegetables for a balanced, filling meal

This is one of those places where everyone in our family leaves happy.

4. Catalina Eddie’s — Hollywood Studios

When your kiddo wants pizza just like everyone else, Catalina Eddie’s delivers. Their allergy-friendly pizza options offer flexibility for multiple allergy needs—without missing out on a classic theme park favorite.

Tip: Always request the allergy coordinator to ensure proper preparation and modifications.

5. Flame Tree Barbecue — Animal Kingdom

You’ll smell this one before you see it! Located in Disney's Animal Kingdom, many of the menu items here are naturally free from several top allergens, making this a reliable and flavorful option.

Our go-to choices include:

  • Allergy-friendly pulled pork sandwich

  • BBQ chicken

Fast, satisfying, and perfect when you’re on the move.

6. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café — Magic Kingdom

Quick service dining at Magic Kingdom can be tricky when allergies are involved, but Cosmic Ray’s is our dependable go-to when we need something fast and familiar.

We typically order:

  • Fries from the dedicated allergy fryer

  • Allergy-friendly chicken strips

Simple, quick, and reliable—perfect between Lightning Lanes.

Walt Disney World continues to be one of the most inclusive and allergy-aware vacation destinations. Traveling with food allergies requires extra preparation, but Disney’s trained Cast Members truly go above and beyond to make the experience just as magical.

I’m incredibly grateful to every Cast Member who helps keep my daughter safe.

Friendly reminders when ordering:

  • Always speak with a chef, allergy coordinator, or manager

  • Double-check for the allergy pick on your food

  • When in doubt, ask again—your safety matters
