When I recently visited Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa, I chose to stay in one of the resort's Xhale Clubaccommodations—and I'm so glad I did. If you're looking to elevate your all-inclusive vacation with exclusive amenities and personalized service, upgrading to the Xhale Club is well worth considering.

From private check-in to attentive butler service and exclusive dining options, the Xhale Club added an extra level of comfort and convenience that made an already incredible vacation feel even more special.

A Personalized Arrival

Our group of 11 was welcomed in true VIP fashion.

Instead of checking in at the main lobby, we were whisked away by golf cart to the private Xhale Club Lounge, where we relaxed with welcome drinks while completing our personalized check-in. The lounge offers comfortable seating, a private bar, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately set the tone for our stay.

Once everyone had their room keys, we met our incredible butler, Yimi, who gave us a brief tour of the Xhale Club area before escorting us to our rooms. After giving us time to settle in, he even drove us to the buffet for dinner after our long travel day—a thoughtful touch that was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Accommodations with a View

Our Xhale Club Partial Ocean View Room was absolutely beautiful.

The balcony overlooked the main pool with the sparkling Caribbean Sea just beyond—one of my favorite places to relax each morning.

Our building was conveniently located near both the main pool and the exclusive Xhale Club breakfast restaurant, making it easy to start each day without having to walk across the resort.

Exclusive Dining to Start the Day

One of my favorite Xhale Club perks was the private breakfast restaurant.

This beautiful open-air venue overlooks the water and offers a much more relaxed atmosphere than the main buffet while still providing an impressive selection of fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses, juices, seafood, and hot breakfast favorites.

The omelet station quickly became a favorite for our group—the chefs prepared fresh, delicious omelets in just minutes.

The restaurant also serves à la carte lunch exclusively for Xhale Club guests, making it a convenient option throughout the day. Being so close to our room meant we could enjoy breakfast and be relaxing at the pool or beach just minutes later.

Butler Service That Made Everything Easier

One of the biggest advantages of the Xhale Club was the outstanding butler service.

Each morning, Yimi sent us the daily resort schedule through WhatsApp, including activity times, restaurant hours, entertainment, and the featured drink of the day.

Throughout our stay, he regularly checked in to see if we needed anything and helped coordinate our dinner plans. For several evenings, he met us at the Xhale Club Lounge, drove us by golf cart to our restaurant, and personally checked us in with the hostess so our large group could be seated quickly.

This level of personalized service made dining effortless and allowed us to fully enjoy some of the resort's fantastic restaurants, including:

The Strip Grill
Coquette
Culinaria

While most restaurants at Breathless Punta Cana don't require reservations (with the exception of the hibachi restaurant), deciding on our dinner plans earlier in the day allowed us to make the most of this wonderful service.

Relax in Exclusive Spaces

Another standout benefit of the Xhale Club is access to exclusive pools and a private beach area.

I especially appreciated the quieter atmosphere at the Xhale Club pool. Whether relaxing in one of the lounge chairs or enjoying the in-water seating, it was the perfect place to unwind.

Attentive pool servers regularly stopped by with drinks, making it easy to simply relax and enjoy the day.

The private beach section offered the same attentive service, with reserved seating and beachside beverage service that created a truly carefree experience.

Is the Xhale Club Worth It?

For me, absolutely.

Breathless Punta Cana is an outstanding resort on its own, offering beautiful accommodations, excellent dining, lively entertainment, and exceptional service throughout the property.

However, the added benefits of the Xhale Club—private check-in, exclusive dining, quieter pools, reserved beach access, and personalized butler service—made our vacation feel even more luxurious and stress-free.
