A Sweet Seat for the Fireworks: Magic Kingdom Dessert Parties

In Fall 2025, Disney rolled out a reimagined Fireworks Dessert Party experience at Magic Kingdom, and the updates made this splurge even sweeter. I would go as far as to say, this experience is now one of my favorites in the park and I will book this again for myself in the future while also recommending it to clients.

Whether you attend the pre- or post-party, when it’s time to indulge you’ll be welcomed into the Tomorrowland Terrace to enjoy a wide variety of desserts and beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, all included with your ticket. There’s no limit to how much you’d like to eat, so feel free to treat yourself! Disney calories don’t even count!

Each dessert station at the party represents a different land in Magic Kingdom, with three perfectly themed desserts designed to match the area they celebrate. While menus are always subject to change, I still want to share a full list of everything we experienced. Since the Disney website only provides a few sample items, I know that when I’m paying for a ticketed special event, I want a clear idea of what to expect, and I’m guessing you do too.

Tomorrowland: Coconut-lime Cake Pop, Cosmic Cream Puff, Star Command Mousse Cup

Fantasyland: Honey Cupcake, Traditional Cannoli, Under the Sea Cupcake

Front and Center Fireworks Dessert Party Station: Cheese and Fruit Selection, Seasonal Crepes Station, Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries

Frontierland: Bayou Peach Cobbler, Campsite Cupcake, Country Bear Cheesecake

Adventureland: DOLE Whip Pineapple Mousse Cup, Mickey-Shaped Fruit Tart, Pirate Treasure Cheesecake

Guests also had the option to build their own ice cream sundae, decorate their own cupcakes and cookies, or snack on some popcorn!

While I sampled so many tasty treats, my top 3 were definitely:

  • Honey Cupcake: Twinings Lemon-Earl Grey Tea Cupcake with Honey Buttercream and a Sugar Bee

  • Pirate Treasure Cheesecake: Whipped Cheesecake, Graham Cracker Crust, Chocolate Skull and Gold Sprinkles

  • Country Bear Cheesecake: Chocolate tart filled with whipped cheesecake, apple pie filling, cinnamon streusel, whipped cream, and a chocolate piece

When it came time for drinks, it felt like there were just as many beverage options as there were desserts! The bar offered a wide selection of beer, wine, champagne, and margaritas. For guests looking for non-alcoholic choices, there were plenty of options as well, including mocktails, water, POG juice, multiple flavors of tea, and coffee. I do feel like this event really offered something for everyone.

Your time to enjoy the desserts takes place either before or after the fireworks, depending on the ticket you purchase. As your trusted travel advisor, I can help you select and reserve the best party for your family.

For the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Pre-Party, you’ll enjoy desserts first and then head to the designated viewing area for the fireworks.

For the Post-Party, after checking in, you’ll go straight to the viewing area while the pre-party guests are enjoying their treats and drinks. This gives you first dibs on the roped-off hub grass for prime viewing.

Both the pre- and post-parties are fantastic and have their own pros and cons, but I personally love the Fireworks Dessert Post-Party. I enjoy arriving early to the hub to grab a great spot, watching the Starlight Parade go by, taking in Happily Ever After, and then while the rest of the park is navigating the crowds towards the exit, I can sit back to enjoy a drink and some sweet treats in a relaxed atmosphere. It really makes what is possibly a busy park day feel so much more relaxing!
