If you haven’t visited Cancun and the Riviera Maya in a number of years, you may not recognize it. Miles and miles of some of the softest white sand you’ll ever sink your toes into are filled with upscale resorts, thatched-roof palapas, Bali daybeds and picture-perfect beaches. But how many of Cancun’s numerous activities can travelers enjoy today? Surprisingly, a lot.

As we head into Earth Month, it’s a great time to reflect on our personal relationship with our beautiful planet and how we can all care for the world we share. Whether it’s reducing your own ecological footprint, planting a tree, creating a butterfly garden or learning more about wildlife and conservation, all of these efforts unite us as we do our part to protect nature’s treasures. And while Disney theme parks celebrate all living things every day, during the annual Earth Day Celebration there’s an added opportunity for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park guests to connect with the magic of nature through engaging activities designed to educate and inspire the whole family.

As a person who has 16 different plants in her apartment, I would certainly say I was looking forward to talking to the man whom everyone working on Jurassic World VelociCoaster kept referring to as, “The Tree Guy” — Neal Diebold.

Today, I’m so happy to tell you all that Leave A Legacy is returning to EPCOT! I’ve always been a super-fan of it, not just because I had a photo in it but because of the memories behind that photo. There’s quite a story here, and I’ll explain if you’ll indulge me for a moment.
