EPIC Eats at Epic Universe: A Tasty First Look

Let me start by saying—Epic Universe truly lives up to its name, especially when it comes to food. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for an adventure, but I didn’t expect to be so impressed by the culinary creativity around every corner. This is not your average theme park fare. Whether you're a foodie or a casual snacker, there’s something delicious waiting in every land.

Here’s a look at what I tasted, loved (and didn’t), plus a few helpful tips along the way.

Super Nintendo World: Colorful, Playful, and Delicious

🍓 Yoshi Smoothie – Yoshi’s Snack Island
This vibrant smoothie was everything I hoped for—refreshing, fruity, and bursting with flavor. Bonus points for presentation—it was so cute I almost didn’t want to drink it (almost). A delightful pick-me-up while exploring the land.

🧄 Toadstool Cheese Garlic Knots – Toadstool Café
These were snack perfection: warm, gooey, and garlicky with just the right amount of cheese. The charming theming of Toadstool Café made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth the hype!

Dark Universe: My Favorite Spot—Hands Down

🔥 Burning Blade Tavern
This location was so good, I dined here twice—and I’d do it again.

  • Hunter’s Garlic Stake: Bold, savory, and packed with flavor. Truly unforgettable.

  • Burning Cheese Bites: They look intense but are incredibly tasty.

  • Lagoon’ita Cocktail: My favorite drink in the entire park—refreshing and memorable.

Pro Tip: Seating is limited. Use mobile ordering and have one person grab a table while the other picks up the food.

Isle of Berk: A Sweet Surprise

🪵 Mead Hall
I wasn’t hungry enough for a full meal but made room for dessert—and I’m so glad I did.

  • Stormfly’s Catch of the Day: A chocolate mousse with a fruity pebble crumble. Unexpected, but it totally worked.

  • The Mead: A bit underwhelming, but still worth a try for the experience.

Ministry of Magic: Parisian Charm and Flavor

☕ Café Lair de La Sirène
Beautiful theming and a relaxing vibe made this a great midday stop.

  • Lavender Lemonade: Pretty, but lacked the bold flavor I was hoping for.

  • French Onion Soup & House Salad: Light, comforting, and perfect for a break from heavier park fare.

  • Butterbeer Crêpe: Not for me, but my friends loved it—this one has definite fan-favorite status.

Pro Tip: Grab a table outside if you can. The view of this portal is absolutely worth it.

Celestial Park: Full Service, Full Flavor

🌊 Atlantic Restaurant
We wrapped up our day here, and it was the perfect finale. With water views, elegant décor, and top-tier service, it felt like a destination all on its own.

  • Scallops: Cooked to perfection and artfully plated.

  • Northern Lights Cocktail: Sparkling, beautiful, and perfectly balanced.

  • Entrées: Our table tried almost everything—the Seabass and Lobster Roll were standout favorites, but there wasn’t a single miss.

If you’re looking for a full-service meal that goes beyond theme park expectations, Atlantic is a must.

Final Thoughts

If Epic Universe is on your vacation wish list, don’t underestimate the dining. Every themed land brings its own culinary style, and there’s truly something for everyone—snack lovers, sweet tooths, cocktail fans, and curious foodies alike.

I’d love to help you plan your visit to Epic Universe—whether you’re traveling solo, as a family, or with a foodie crew. Let’s make it EPIC in every way!
